TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV / Gray News) – A doctor accused of offering mask removal letters to parents with children in school has been removed from Capital Regional Medical Center, a hospital in Florida.
Several viewers alerted WCTV to posts promoting the “withdrawal medical interview” showings on Facebook for $ 50.
One of the posts assigned to a Brian Warden account was shared in the “Parents Against Masks” Facebook group.
He asks parents in Leon County, Florida to send him a private message if they need a medical exemption letter for their child.
“We act with absolute integrity in everything we do, and we expect providers to behave in a manner consistent with these values,” the hospital statement said. “Immediately after learning of this physician’s actions, we began the process of removing him from providing service to our inpatients.”
One of the posts from the account with Warden’s name says he would be doing the interviews under Dove Field Health, LLC, his own company that is not affiliated with any hospitals or groups.
According to the Florida Secretary of State’s website, the LLC was incorporated on July 26, 2021.
According to the Florida Department of Health website, Warden initially obtained his medical license in Florida on February 15, 2021.
He graduated from Temple University in May 2018, according to the DOH. As of Wednesday morning, the DOH website listed no emergency action, discipline or public complaints on Warden’s page.
Doximity, a networking website for healthcare professionals, says Warden specializes in emergency medicine. He says he was in residence at Thomas Jefferson University from 2018 to 2021.
Warden did not respond to requests for comment.
