If you grew up listening to KRVN – “the best farming station in the country!” – you might remember “The Rest of the Story” by radio legend Paul Harvey.
Columnists like Michelle Malkin could learn from Paul Harvey.
Example: Malkin wrote that Kamala Harris – then attorney general of California – had created a “ploy” to steal the estate of singer Nina Simone from her daughter Lisa. Harris “threatened her with jail time” if she did not resign as administrator of the estate. Scandalous!
The rest of the story? Lisa Simone had illegally embezzled some $ 2 million from her mother’s estate, a trust for the musical education of black African children. Harris’ “plan”? Protect the wishes and property of Nina Simone.
Malkin “forgot” to mention it.
Another: Malkin defended “victim” Lauren Witzke, a field organizer for Trump. Witzke’s bank, Wells Fargo, closed his account without notice. Malkin angrily claimed that the big government (Wells Fargo Bank – really?) Was targeting Tory Witzke.
What isn’t Malkin telling you? Witzke, a conspiracy theorist, has a history of arrests for breaking heroin and methamphetamine laws, smuggling into a prison facility, and claiming to be a former drug dealer for “cartel families.” Maybe, like Harris, Wells Fargo was just protecting their assets.
